Saira Khan’s life would be much ‘easier’ if she was quiet

Saira Khan thinks her life would be much "easier" if she stayed quiet.
The ‘Loose Women’ star has always been open about her own feelings and things going in her life but thinks it would be easier if she didn’t speak out as much.
She said: "My life would be easier if I stayed quiet. But I can’t pretend to be something I’m not – I’ve always been honest. On the show I admitted that Steve and I had stopped having sex because of my low libido and joked that I had told him he could have sex elsewhere. Steve doesn’t like being in the spotlight but immediately his LinkedIn notifications started madly flashing and his friends starting ringing …
"I knew I was in trouble when he walked through the door and didn’t say a word. He ended up coming on the show to talk about it: I persuaded him it was the only way to put a stop to people thinking we had an open marriage and draw a line under it. When my colleagues asked him how he felt, he said he was really disappointed in me. I thought, I need to be more careful about what I say."
And the 47-year-old television personality isn’t bothered by the trolls on social media.
She added to the Mail on Sunday’s You magazine: "I’ve dealt with criticism all my life so trolls don’t bother me. Steve fears for our lives sometimes but I’m never scared. I sent the death threat to the police and the person deleted their account straight away.
"Trolls never put a name or face to their accounts. They are not real in the sense that if they were, I wouldn’t be able to walk down the street without someone having a go – and no one has ever had a go at me in public. People tend to come and hug me and say, ‘Well done for speaking up.’"
