Ric Flair ‘suing ex-management company’

Ric Flair is suing his former management company – claiming he is owed at least $46,000.
The 68-year-old former wrestler has reportedly started legal action against Legacy Talent and Entertainment – who he used from 2009 until October 2017 – after hiring a lawyer to investigate his finances.
According to gossip website TMZ, Ric claims he was due to earn $25,000 for his recent ’30 for 30′ special on ESPN.
Legacy allegedly received $25,000 from First Row Films, the production company behind the documentary, and Ric claims he wasn’t told about the payment or given any of the cash.
The wrestling manager is also said to have noticed a $12,000 royalty advance from Jake’s Fireworks, who he signed up to endorse earlier this year.
Legacy have reportedly informed Ric they are using the cash to pay legal bills, but he insists he didn’t authorise that and is taking legal action.
This comes after Ric was hospitalised with multiple organ problems in August, but since then he has stopped drinking.
Speaking on the ’30 for 30′ documentary, he said: "I wouldn’t even begin to think about drinking. If you ever hear that I’m out drinking again, say, ‘Ric, you [dummy], you deserve whatever you get.
"Going forward, I want people to take my advice as opposed to wanting to be or act like me. There’s a lot of 20-year-old kids that want to be Ric Flair. That’s cool if it’s in a good context. But if it’s drinking to relieve stress or cope with life, that’s not the answer."
Ric recently claimed he used to drink "10 beers and five mixed drinks" a day for 20 years.
