Nicki Minaj: God helps me to laugh off my critics

Nicki Minaj is able to laugh off her critics thanks to her "strong relationship with God".
The chart-topping rap star has revealed she doesn’t take her detractors too seriously, because she’s ultimately able to turn to God for support.
Nicki explained: "You can usually bet your bottom dollar that anytime you see something on the Internet going on with me, no matter how it looks, I’m usually behind the scenes laughing.
"Because I have a strong relationship with God. I’ve watched Him work miracle after miracle in my life.
"I’ve watched Him shut down every person who’s ever come up against me, and so it’s comical at this point ’cause I sometimes feel like, ‘Wow. Don’t they know how this movie’s gonna play out? Cause I definitely know how this movie’s gonna play out.’"
Meanwhile, Nicki also revealed the despite previously collaborating with Beyonce, there is no hope that the two superstars will ever release a joint album.
The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker said that fan demand for the album amounts to little more than "wishful thinking" on their part.
Speaking to Paper magazine, Nicki shared: "The only person that I’ve seen a lot of people speak on, when talking about an album of that calibre, is Beyoncé ’cause we did "***Flawless" [remix] and ‘Feeling Myself’ and we’ve actually performed together.
"I always see a lot of people saying, ‘Oh my gosh, a joint album with you guys would be really dope,’ but, you know, those are the kinds of things that are just wishful thinking from fans."
