Gwen Stefani says the sexiest thing about her partner Blake Shelton is his heart.
The ‘Used To Love You’ hitmaker is thrilled her boyfriend has been recognised as People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2017 and has revealed what it is that she finds sexiest about him.
She said: "It’s interesting because I don’t think any of those things like beauty or sexy or whatever way you want to describe humans is necessarily a physical thing that people are attracted to. It’s all about the heart, and he has that big ol’ gigantic heart in there, so he’s quite an attractive human. I’m not the only one that thinks it!"
And the 48-year-old singer thinks Blake is "perfect" for the accolade and says his sense of humour is the "number one thing" she likes about him.
She added to People magazine: "He’s perfect for it. Somebody that is funny and has a sense of humour is sexy – that’s the number one thing. [He’s] somebody that is at the top of their game and talented and genuine and cool and generous and just not self-aware at all – completely a man. He doesn’t even know how cute he is. [He]’s cocky but only because he’s a cowboy!"
Meanwhile, Blake Shelton previously thanked his girlfriend for helping him embrace the honour.
Asked what went through his mind when he found out about being given the accolade, he quipped: "That y’all must be running out of people. Like, Wow, we’re down to somebody who is somewhat symmetrical … She [Gwen] goes, ‘Listen to me, you’re going to regret this for the rest of your life if you don’t take this gift and just live in the moment.’"
