Carrie Underwood breaks wrist

Carrie Underwood has broken her wrist after falling at home.
The ‘Before He Cheats’ hitmaker injured herself after a "hard fall" and is now recuperating at home with her husband Mike Fisher by her side.
Her representative said in a statement: "On Friday night, Carrie Underwood took a hard fall on some steps outside her home. While there were no life-threatening injuries, she was taken to the hospital to be treated. She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall.
"Fisher was able to make it back into town that night to be with her and she was released from the hospital. Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes."
Since the news broke, Carrie has taken to social media to thank her fans for their well wishes.
She wrote on Twitter: "Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody … I’ll be alright … might just take some time … glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me. (sic)"
Because of her injuries, Carrie has been forced to cancel her Sunday night (12.11.17) appearance at the Country Rising benefit concert in Nashville.
Meanwhile, Carrie previously admitted she is a "better" mother and wife when she feels good about herself.
She explained: "It helps having a supportive husband and a great unit around me. You have to sit down and talk to those around you because I feel like I’m a better mom, a better wife, a better friend when I feel good about myself. It’s endorphins and all that stuff that’s being released, too. No bad things can come out of taking care of yourself!"
