Kevin Spacey ‘dropped from All the Money in the World’

Kevin Spacey has been replaced by Christopher Plummer on ‘All the Money in the World’.
The 58-year-old actor has reportedly been dropped from the forthcoming film, in which he was due to star as J Paul Getty, following recent allegations of sexual misconduct made against him by a number of people.
According to Deadline, director Ridley Scott and Imperative Entertainment’s Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas made the decision to replace Spacey, and despite the move, the filmmaker is said to be determined the motion picture will still be released on December 22.
Sony Pictures and the cast and crew of the movie, which includes Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams, are said to have unanimously agreed to re-shoot all of Spacey’s scenes.
The motion picture tells the story of his character, oilman J Paul Getty, who refused to pay a ransom after his grandson, John Paul Getty III, was kidnapped.
But fortunately, most of the scenes in the thriller film involve Getty III’s mother Gail Harris (Williams), and Getty’s advisor (Wahlberg) rather than Getty himself.
Spacey is said to have worked around eight to 10 days on the movie set.
The ‘American Beauty’ actor is currently receiving treatment at an Arizona rehab centre after being accused of sexual harassment and assault by a number of men, including Richard Dreyfuss’ son Harry and Star Trek: Discovery’s Anthony Rapp.
Jon Bernthal has also claimed Spacey was "a bit of a bully" on the set of ‘Baby Driver’.
He said: "Going on to that set and working with him, I wasn’t there much, but when I was there, he really rubbed me the wrong way. I thought he was a bit of a bully. I didn’t really care for the way he was behaving toward some of the other people on set."
