Nicole Scherzinger reveals secrets to being a successful artist

Nicole Scherzinger thinks being "authentic" sets her apart from other artists.
The 39-year-old singer – who is known for being in the girl band The Pussycat Dolls – believes the key to success is being true to yourself and honest.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the brunette beauty said: "I’ve become more relaxed about things, that’s for sure.
"I’ve learnt that it’s important to be authentic because that’s what separates you from everyone else."
The ‘Right There’ hitmaker has hinted she has a number of "secret projects" lined up, and she has delayed releasing new music because she wants her songs to come from a "truthful and honest place".
She explained: "That’s one of the reasons I’m taking so much time to release new music. It has to come from a truthful and honest place because the industry is so over-saturated at the moment."
And the ‘Moana’ actress – who provided the voice over to Sina in the 2016 production – believes it is "important" for actors and actresses to "stay on top" of the industry and familiarise themselves with everything business.
She explained: "As an actress, it’s important to stay on top of the things that are out there and to see how they’re being filmed."
But the ‘The X Factor’ judge has admitted her busy work schedule has left her feeling "lonely" because she finds it "hard" to juggle her career and private life.
Speaking previously, she said: "Anybody who is successful in what they do is making sacrifices. It’s juggling and finding the balance. I’ve absolutely missed out on things in life. It is hard, I’m not going to lie. It can be lonely. I’m always on the road, I’m always by myself. I think anybody in this industry feels lonely.
"I would say it generally gets harder to find the balance the older you get. Timing is everything. When things are aligned then it will be easier. There’s always a sacrifice to be made but it’s either worth it or not."
