Demi Lovato gives fans free tickets

Demi Lovato has chosen five lucky fans to receive free tickets for her upcoming tour.
The ‘Cool For The Summer’ hitmaker will be hitting the road across the US with DJ Khaled in 2018, but the cost of pre-sale tickets – ranging from $50 to more than $1,000 – left many of her supporters disappointed at having to miss out.
However, the 25-year-old singer took to social media to pick a handful of her fans who had tweeted about the shows, and surprise them with tickets for a show of their choice.
When one upset Twitter follower revealed they had missed out on a pre-sale code, Demi responded: "Turn that frown upside down! I got you … check your DMs!!!"
As well as urging a second fan to check their direct messages, and telling another she had their back, the star told one supporter to "keep her savings", after she suggested it was the only way she’d be able to afford a ticket.
A different follower even specified the date they wanted to attend and asked for a Christmas or birthday present.
Demi went one better, writing: "See you in Dallas … Check your DMs".
Meanwhile, the star has been open about her personal issues in the past, including going to rehab in 2010 to seek treatment for a dependence on alcohol and drugs.
This has created an honest relationship with her fans, and she recently advised her young followers to "choose wisely" when it comes to embarking on a long-term romance.
She said: "I think that when you find something that’s very special to you, don’t deny yourself of the opportunity.
"It is important to remember that you are young and you have a lot of life ahead of you. So, with that in mind, make your future decisions, choose them wisely."
