Ty Dolla $ign has confirmed he’s dating Lauren Jauregui.
The 32-year-old musician – who appeared alongside Lauren on Fifth Harmony’s chart-topping single ‘Work from Home’ – has been persistently linked with the singer over recent months, but until now, the duo have remained tight-lipped about their relationship status.
Asked about the rumours linking him with Lauren, Ty told Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club: "Just for you, I’ll say yes. Only for the Breakfast Club."
Ty – whose real name is Tyrone Griffin – and Lauren have both previously hinted at their relationship on social media, posting behind-the-scenes snaps of themselves together.
However, they have also refused to confirm or deny whether they are a couple.
Meanwhile, Lauren recently confessed that she was unprepared for fame at the outset of her music career.
The brunette beauty stars in the girl group alongside Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, and previously Camila Cabello – but she’s admitted to being unaware of what she was letting herself in for during her teenage years.
Lauren, 21 – who auditioned on the American version of ‘The X Factor’ in 2012 – explained: "I gave my life to this without knowing what I was doing. I was very little when I started in 5H, I was 16.
"I think that until we’re 21, human beings don’t get to know themselves very much. But I also believe that everything happens for a reason, and that God knows what he’s doing."
Lauren admitted she’s had to learn about herself and the world while she’s been in the public eye.
Of her time in the spotlight, the singer shared: "I had to learn everything, in front of many people. That way I learned a lot about myself and the people that surround me.
"And when I mean everything, I mean from learning how to talk and communicate to learning everything that means to be an artist."
