Rupert Grint wears a hat to hide his identity

Rupert Grint wears a hat to conceal his identity.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star has admitted he finds his celebrity status to be "uncomfortable" and therefore, in a bid to escape the attention of his fans, he’s occasionally taken to wearing a hat to blend in.
He explained: "Selfies have become an everyday thing now, it’s happened since I was a young boy so you weirdly get used to it and forget it’s actually quite a strange thing.
"For me, it’s like being asked for directions, it just happens. I never feel famous, so I’m always uncomfortable if someone gets starstruck. But I’ve no regrets.
"It’s an unusual existence but not ridiculously crazy. Sometimes I can get over it by wearing a hat!"
Rupert, 29, starred as Ron Weasley in the ‘Harry ‘Potter’ film series earlier in his career.
And the actor has admitted he now appreciates the magnitude of those movies more than he did at the time of making them.
Asked which of his co-stars stands out most in his mind, Rupert told What’s On TV: "I’ve been so lucky. Alan Rickman quickly comes to mind. He had an amazing presence when he walked on set. There are so many incredible people I could list – Julie Walters and Ralph Fiennes, and I’ve early memories of Richard Harris.
"Back then, I didn’t appreciate it as much as I do now. When I first started they were just nice people, now I’m older and have watched more films, I realise it was amazing."
Earlier this year, Rupert admitted he considered quitting acting after starring in 2011’s ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2’.
The Brit – who starred alongside Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe in the money-spinning franchise – said: "We had such an intimate and intense few years in this bubble.
"When I started, [acting] was never something that I aspired to do. I did acting with school plays and stuff like that."
