Tyrese Gibson has checked himself into hospital after experiencing pains in his chest.
The 38-year-old actor decided to attend a medical facility in Los Angeles on Thursday night (26.10.17) after he started to feel dehydrated, TMZ reports.
Tyrese has undergone tests to determine the cause of his chest pains but so far, it remains unclear what specifically led to him feeling unwell.
The health scare followed Tyrese spending a day in court with his ex-wife Norma, who has accused the ‘Fast And The Furious’ star of having her spied on.
Norma – who was married to Tyrese from 2007 until 2009 – is attempting to have a restraining order imposed on her ex-husband.
And during the course of a dramatic day in court, she accused the Hollywood actor of harassing her since 2014, following a custody evaluation, by having her and her friends followed by someone.
Norma – who has a 10-year-old daughter called Shayla with Tyrese – also alleged that he punched her while she was pregnant back in 2007.
But London-born Norma claimed to have signed an agreement following the alleged incident that stopped her from discussing it, adding that she was happy to agree because she did not wish to harm his career at the time.
However, during the cross examination, Tyrese’s lawyer suggested Norma was dating a drug addict, and hinted that was the reason he’d hired a private investigator.
Tyrese – who has also starred in the ‘Transformers’ franchise, as well as several high profile music videos, like Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ – believes Norma is acting out of spite, following his marriage to social worker Samantha Lee Gibson earlier this year.
He also claims not to have seen his daughter in over 60 days and that his priority is to resolve the dispute as quickly as possible.
