Noel Gallagher couldn’t care about Liam’s Twitter rants

Noel Gallagher is completely indifferent to his brother Liam Gallagher’s Twitter rants and has compared his posts to the ramblings of a "common pigeon".
The brothers have barely spoken since Noel walked out on Oasis in August 2009 following a backstage row in Paris which ended with Liam attacking his older sibling with a guitar.
Their feud has been intensified this year with Liam, 45, repeatedly logging on to his Twitter account to insult his "beige potato" brother, whilst he has also publicly attacked him for his response to the terrorist attack that occurred outside the Manchester Arena at an Ariana Grande concert in May, which claimed the lives of 22 people in their hometown.
Noel, 50, admits people have expected him to fire back "all guns blazing" but he refuses to sink to Liam’s level and he knows if he ignores him it will only make him more mad.
And the guitarist insists people should be prepared for it to continue because there won’t be any thaw in their frosty relationship.
Speaking to the new issue of Q magazine, the ‘Holy Mountain’ songwriter said: "What you’ve got to understand is that the tweeting is all playing to the gallery. It’s sport. I’ll be in a boozer and someone will say, ‘F***ing hell, our kid’s gone Donald Trump.
"But you know, I’m trying to soar like an eagle and I’m being asked to comment on the ramblings of a common pigeon. People want me to come out all guns blazing. I know the game. I know how it works, I invented it. But I couldn’t adequately express my indifference to it … And it’s not going to stop by the way. It’s only going to get worse."
Noel hopes that people can see from Liam’s online rants what the final years in Oasis were like for him and make them realise why he had to go solo.
He added: "I know him better than anyone else on the planet and what you see, that’s what Oasis was like. Is it any f**king wonder we’re not together?
"I don’t blame myself for the end of the band, no. I freely admit I can be cold, I can be indifferent. Maybe that drives him mad. And, if it does, good."
Liam has enjoyed a very successful comeback in 2017 with his debut solo LP ‘As You Were’ topping the album chart in the UK and being certified gold in its first week with over 100,000 sales, whilst it has also made a big impact in charts across the globe.
But Noel – who is gearing up to release his third solo album ‘Who Built The Moon?’ in November – won’t be checking out his sibling’s songs.
He said: "I’m not a fan, I’m not going to learn anything. He doesn’t write his own songs, so it means nothing to me."
