Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh choose X Factor final three

Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh have chosen their final three acts for the ‘X Factor’ live shows.
In Sunday’s (22.10.17) episode of the ITV talent show, the final two judges took their six respective acts to the judge’s houses round of the competition, and chose the final three acts that will make it through to the live shows, which kick off next week.
Show runner and entertainment mogul Simon Cowell whisked the groups category away to the South of France, where special guest Cheryl was on hand to help him choose which three to carry through to the live shows.
Sibling trio The Cutkelvins, brotherly duo Sean and Conor Price, and London based boy band Rak-Sou impressed Simon and Cheryl enough to earn them a spot in the next round of the competition, whilst Jack and Joel, girl group Lemonade, and an unnamed girl band – who were put together in the six chair challenge after a number of solo girls failed to make it through – were sent home.
Meanwhile, Louis and special guest Mika took the boys – including Jack Mason, Spencer Sutherland, Aidan Martin, Leon Mallet, Lloyd Macey, and Sam Black – to Istanbul.
Spencer, Sam, and Lloyd managed to win themselves a spot in the live shows, whilst it was unfortunately the end of the road for Leon, Aiden, and Jack.
For Sam, the good news was particularly emotional, as he had already been turned away from the show once during the boot camp stage of the competition, but was brought back to take the place of Anthony Russell, who was forced to quit because of "personal reasons".
Simon’s three groups and Louis’ three boys will join Sharon Osbourne’s three girls, Rai-Elle, Holly Tandy, and Grace Davies, and Nicole Scherzinger’s three Over 25’s, Kevin Davy White, Matt Linnen, and Tracyleanne Jefford in the live shows.
‘X Factor’ returns with the first week of live shows on Saturday (28.10.17)
