Lethal Bizzle praises Chris and Kem over rap song

Lethal Bizzle has urged fans to support Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay’s rap track ‘Little Bit Leave It’ because he’s getting a "percentage" of the royalties.
The ‘Love Island’ duo used the 33-year-old grime star’s famous phrase "Leave It" from his 2011 single ‘Leave It Yeah’ without his permission in their debut solo single last month and, although he was initially fuming for making money from him, they have now settled the feud and he wants people to download the song.
Speaking about the furore, the ‘Go Hard’ hitmaker – whose real name is Maxwell Owusu Ansah – told 4music’s Trending Live: "I just felt it was quite distasteful that they would come into our culture and take things from me and not give the right credit that was deserved. In their defense, they were very cool and realised and I don’t think they did it on purpose. There’s no more beef … support the song because I’m getting a percentage now."
The reality TV stars came up with the song with fellow ‘Love Islander’ Marcel Somerville – who is part of Blazin’ Squad – as part of a talent show task.
It peaked at 15 in the charts, and Bizzle released a video on his Twitter account earlier this month expressing how annoyed he was over the rap.
But he now thinks the track has credibility because it is catchy and was produced by Grime maestro ZDOT.
He added: "You know what it’s not too bad, it’s quite cool. The beat, The producer is a well know grime producer. I really don’t have a problem with it, I just thought the whole element they took, they thought they could run with it and could use their reality status."
However, he wasn’t the only one looking for a song writing credit, as Marcel also posted a cryptic tweet reminding the pair about his involvement in the song.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, Marcel wrote: "Boys the tune sounds sick!!! I hope u did the right thing with the chorus & bars I wrote."
