Louis Walsh to voice dog

Louis Walsh has made a festive film for dogs.
The ‘X Factor’ judge will provide the voice of a female Pyrenean Sheepdog named Holly in ‘Merry Woofmas’, which will air on the TV channel Christmas 24 later this month, that has been specifically created for canines to enjoy over the winter holiday.
Speaking about his latest venture, the 65-year-old Irish music manager said: "I’ve absolutely loved narrating this special Christmas movie for dogs.
"It’s important to realise that dogs see the world in a very different way to us humans, and respond differently to certain audio and visuals."
The short film was made with special audio and slow visuals in the blue and yellow to cater to dogs’ limited attention span and visible colour spectrum.
Louis explained: "I think it’s great that there’s now a Christmas film specifically developed for dogs, so the whole family can sit back, relax and enjoy a Christmas film together this festive season."
And to ensure the movie provided an honest portrayal of the animals, the broadcasting channel Christmas 24 worked with animal behaviourist Dr Candy d’Sa and veterinarian Robert White-Adams on the script.
Candy said: "It’s been really interesting to learn how pets are stimulated by different sounds and I hope they enjoy my voice-over in this film. I’ll definitely be encouraging Sharon [Oshourne] and Simon’s [Cowell] dogs to give this a watch with me this Christmas! Merry Woofmas, everybody!"
‘Merry Woofmas’ will premiere on-air and on the Christmas 24 Facebook page on October 28 at 4:50pm.
