Jade Thirlwall has been struggling with the long distance between her and her boyfriend Jed Elliott.
The 24-year-old Little Mix star has been romancing The Struts bassist for two years, but admits it feels as though they’ve only just begun their relationship because their hectic touring schedules mean they "never" get to see one another.
She said: "It’s s**t – we never see each other. We’ve been together two years but it feels like we’ve only just started going out because we never see each other. It’s been a bit s**t not seeing each other I must admit."
But the ‘Power’ hitmaker – who has been busy on a world tour whilst Jed’s band have been touring with rock legends Foo Fighters – hopes she will be able to get in some much needed down time with Jed, 26, over the Christmas period.
She added to the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "I’m going to try and see my boyfriend over Christmas, we don’t see each other very often.
"He is coming up north but we do so much unpacking and travelling we just want to be a normal couple and stay in one place. I think we just want to stay at home and chill."
It isn’t the first time the brunette beauty has bemoaned the distance between them, as she previously said they constantly have to fly around the world to see one another.
She said: "We hardly ever see each other as he’s signed in the US and I’m always on tour, but we fly to see each other as much as possible."
And earlier this year, the ‘Black Magic’ singer went through 38 hours of travel "hell" in order to see Jed, as she jetted from Newcastle in England to Los Angeles, via London, Chicago and Kansas, just to see the dark haired hunk.
Alongside a photograph of herself in a swimming pool with Jed, Jade wrote: "current 38 hours of traveling hell to make it from Newcastle to London to Chicago to Kansas City to Los Angeles to see my lad mood. (sic)"
