Paul McCartney has ‘fun’ breaking the rules of songwriting

Sir Paul McCartney says he’s still writing songs with the same rule‑dodging, wide‑eyed mischief he had as a teenager.

Kim Kardashian West’s life lessons

Kim Kardashian West’s "worst experiences" have made her who she is.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star feels she has learned so much from all the places she has been to and the experiences she has had.
She said: "Even my worst experiences have taught me so much. I don’t think if I was doing what I was doing now, I would have met my husband, I would have had my babies. We’ve travelled the world. I don’t think we would have been to the places we’ve been to. That’s such a blessing."
And Kim is glad the family’s reality show has helped encourage positive conversation about things such as Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.
Speaking on The Today Show, she added: "Through our show, we’ve shown so much more positive things, and the amount of feedback we get even from Kendall and Kylie’s dad transitioning and people now knowing how to handle that or how to deal with that. They only want to focus on ‘Oh they’re superficial, oh they’re wearing makeup.’"
Meanwhile, Khloe previously revealed her and her sisters never expected their E! show to do so well when it started back in 2007.
Reflecting on the programme over the years, she said: "We never could have fathomed the longevity of the show – that we would film 14 seasons and a handful of spin-offs. I don’t think anybody could have. When it comes to our drama, we are a large, blended family. If you put a microscope over any family for 10 years, you’re bound to find cracks in the foundation. That’s just the name of the game, and we’re strong enough to endure it.
"We are by nature vulnerable and open people. And I think it’s a gift to be that way. I know a lot of people who are superb actors, who could act the f**k out of a role, but they could never be themselves in front of a camera – it would be too much to have people tear them apart or judge them. I totally get that, but this is what we do. And we do it together. This is what we’ve chosen, and we’ve chosen to be as raw and honest as we can."
