Aaron Chalmers quits Geordie Shore?

Aaron Chalmers has suggested he is quitting ‘Geordie Shore’.
The 30-year-old reality star – who joined the fly-on-the-wall programme in April 2014 – thinks it is time to "step out" of the show and allow younger cast members to take over the spotlight.
He told Mail Online: "Geordie Shore is my job, that’s what has made us, but obviously I’m 30 now and I have a girlfriend, so maybe it’s my time to step out of Geordie Shore and let somebody younger come in."
And Aaron thinks the audience are probably not that interested in him either.
He added: "I’ve done what I need to do on there. You have to understand the show doesn’t grow old, but we do. Six years ago it was fun, but we’re getting older. The audience is getting younger and we’re getting older.’
The tattooed hunk – who knocked out his MMA opponent Alex Thompson in just 30 seconds at his second-ever professional bout at the SSE Arena, Wembley, in London on Friday (15.09.17) – insisted he is "grateful" for his stint on the show and all the opportunities it has given him.
He added: "I’m very grateful for everything that has happened. ‘Geordie Shore’ has given us the opportunity to do what I’m doing now.
‘When I first started ‘Geordie Shore’, I never thought I would be on the billboard to fight at Wembley. It’s all a bit surreal still."
Aaron, who has been nicknamed ‘The Joker’, admitted he’d been worried about his opponent after he went down.
He said: "I don’t really want to physically hurt someone… as soon as I saw he was alright, my nerves settled a little bit. It is a bit worrying."
