Gemma Collins mistook thunder for gunshot

Gemma Collins ran out of a restaurant screaming last week after she mistook thunder for a gunshot.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star was enjoying a nice meal with her co-star Chloe Sims when she heard a clap of thunder coming from outside and convinced herself that someone was parading a weapon.
Writing in her column for Star magazine, Chloe said: "Oh my goodness, I was out for dinner last week and all of a sudden we heard a loud bang that terrified us.
"Gemma Collins shouted: ‘It’s a gunshot!’, so we all hurried out of the restaurant."
And, despite her reaction to the thunder, Gemma insists she’s not actually a "diva."
Asked what the biggest misconception about her is, she said: "That I’m always confident and a diva."
However, fans of the loveable blonde beauty will no doubt argue otherwise as she had viewers in hysterics back in 2014 when she refused to parachute into the jungle with her cast mates for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ and then pulled out of the show after spending 72 hours in the outback.
She said recently: "I think people think I’m so confident. They probably look at me and think I don’t doubt myself but actually I do, so when they said I was going into the jungle, I was so scared because I’ve been there once, I sort of know what to do again. I would probably be terrible at the challenges.
"Do you know what? I was meant to go back in the jungle the year after I came out but it didn’t happen. There’s something that went on that not too many people know about – The night before I went in the jungle. But if it came up again, why not?"
