Prince Charles praises George’s new school

Prince Charles thinks Prince George’s new school will be good for character building.
The Prince of Wales was pleased his grandson’s first day at school went so well but quipped he wouldn’t be offering any advice as he doesn’t think George would "take it from him".
When he was asked if he gave his grandson advice on his first day, he told ITV News: "Of course not! He wouldn’t take it from me, I don’t think at that age.
"He’s being left there to have to get on with it. At that age you don’t worry quite so much about going to school as you do when you get a bit older."
It comes after Prince William revealed George had a great first day at St Thomas’s in Battersea and was thankful everything went smoothly unlike another parent who had some drama with her children.
He said: "It went well. There was one other parent who had more of an issue with their children so I was quite pleased I wasn’t the one."
Meanwhile, the former headteacher Ben Thomas previously insisted Prince George won’t have any "special treatment" at his school.
Ben said: "Our aim for him, as well as for all of our pupils, is to provide a safe and secure and happy environment where he feels supported by a kind and loving community.
"That’s something we will be trying to achieve for him. There won’t be any special treatment at all. In fact, what his parents would like for him, as any parent would like for their child, is they have a wonderful, fulfilling and private childhood in a place which is secure."
