Harry Styles is One Direction’s ‘big star’, says Louis Walsh

Harry Styles "will be the big star" of the One Direction boys, according to ‘X Factor’ judge Louis Walsh.
The 23-year-old musician found huge success with his debut solo album when it hit the shelves earlier this year, and Louis – who judges on the singing competition which put the band together – thinks that he’ll be the one who finds the most success over his band mates Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and former member Zayn Malik.
Each member of the ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ hitmakers have had hit records since going on hiatus in order to pursue solo careers in late 2015, but Louis would still "put [his] money on Harry".
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, the 65-year-old talent manager said: "I still say Harry will be the big star. ‘Sign of the Times’ is a great song. He knows what he wants, he’s ambitious, and he works hard. He’s the one. They’ve all had hit singles but I’d still put my money on Harry. He wants it and will do what it takes to get it."
Louis Walsh isn’t the only one who has his eye on the ‘Carolina’ singer either, as former Oasis star Liam Gallagher recently revealed he thinks the hunk’s rock sound is "alright".
Asked what advice he’d give to Harry, Liam said: "Just do what you wanna do, man. And whether it’s wrong or right, do it. Please yourself. God bless you for doing that [One Direction] stuff for ten years. I’d rather him do the f***ing rock ‘n’ roll thing now than him f***ing being a rap star, you know what I mean? F***ing sticking a big gold chain around his neck, speaking like some f***ing gangster like the other one, Liam [Payne]. Harry Styles? He’s alright, man. I’ve seen him on that ‘Carpool [Karaoke]’ and the guy can f***ing sing."
