Jake Quickenden and Danielle Fogarty are engaged.
The former ‘X Factor’ contestant recently proposed to Danielle – whose father is World Superbike racer Carl Fogarty – and they have shared their engagement story with HELLO! magazine.
Jake shared a picture from their photoshoot with the magazine on Instagram and wrote: "So so happy to finally be able to announce…. she said yes @danielle_fogarty1 here’s to an amazing future together, I will always have your back and I love you so much !! And Danielle wrote: "So fairytales do come true. my best friend and soulmate @jakequickenden14 asked me for his hand in marriage and of course I said YES!! It was the most perfect day a girl could wish for, I’m on cloud 9!!We can’t wait for our future together, the story and more pictures in @hellomaguk out in London tomorrow and Sunday for the rest of the UK xxx (sic)."
And Jake told the magazine that he was extremely nervous about popping the question.
He said: "I had a whole speech prepared, but as soon as I opened the ring box I was blubbing and I couldn’t speak.
"I didn’t even ask Danielle to marry me, but luckily she said ‘Yes’ when she saw the ring – and then she started crying too."
Jake and Danielle have been dating for almost three years, after meeting at the ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!’ wrap party in 2014, which Jake starred in with her dad.
