Prince William to visit Sporting Chance charity for The FA

Prince William will visit the Sporting Chance charity on September 12 to hear about their work supporting victims of sexual abuse within the football industry.
The Duke of Cambridge is the President of The FA (Football Association) and part of his duty will be to visit the centre in Hampshire, South West England to see how their work is benefiting users.
Kensington Palace announced on Twitter: The Duke, as President of the @FA, will visit the Sporting Chance charity on 12 September … HRH will see how they are working with The FA to support those affected by non-recent cases of childhood sexual abuse within football. (sic)"
The 35-year-old royal then stop off at the McLaren Production centre to meet with staff at the car racing car company and meet budding apprentices.
They added: "The Duke of Cambridge will also visit the McLaren Production centre on 12th September to meet the team behind the British automotive company … HRH will also meet some of the company’s young apprentices training to become the next generation of car designers, engineers & technicians (sic)"
It comes following the news that William is expecting his third child with the Duchess of Cambridge.
The couple – who already have four-year-old son Prince George and two-year-old Daughter Princess Charlotte – made the surprise announcement on Monday morning (05.09.17).
A statement from the palace read: "Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.
"The Queen and both their families are delighted with the news."
The announcement comes as the couple – who recently relocated to Kensington Palace, London – were due to commence full-time royal duties once their son George starts at Thomas’s School in Battersea, south west London, on Thursday (07.09.17).
A series of tweets on the official Kensington Palace Twitter account last week read: "The coming months will see The Duke & Duchess & Prince Harry undertake a busy autumn programme as TRH return to royal duties & engagements.
"Over the course of the autumn, TRH will visit a number of communities, charities and organisations across the UK.
"TRH will continue to highlight the important work of their patronages, & collectively focus on supporting issues surrounding mental health. (sic)"
