Marnie Simpson thinks her friend Charlotte Crosby keeps dumping her boyfriend Stephen Bear on social media because she wants to get him back for hurting her.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ star hasn’t seen her close friend for a while because she’s been busy filming ‘Single AF’ abroad so she doesn’t know for sure what’s going on between the turbulent couple, but she doesn’t think their rows are anything serious and they’re merely airing their dirty laundry in public because they want to cause the most harm.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Marnie – who went through a similar situation with her ex-boyfriend Lewis Bloor earlier this year – explained: "When I was with Lewis I always used to lash out in anger and get him back through social media. It’s the worst thing you can do. I just think they’re having a normal argument like every couple does. Charlotte is quite an impulsive person like me. I’m exactly the same."
But the 25-year-old beauty is convinced Charlotte and Bear – who have only been dating since the beginning of the year – will get back together eventually.
She explained: "When you’re angry you just want to get at them. Charlotte is still young. We still act out. I’m so guilty of doing it in the past and I always regretted it. If I’m angry at my boyfriend I delete every single picture off me Instagram – but then I’m like why did I do that? So embarrassing. I totally relate to her. I don’t think there’s anything serious going on I think they’re just having a little tiff everyone has."
Meanwhile, Stephen – who is also known by his nickname Bear – has agreed to give his relationship with the blonde beauty another go but only if she sticks to the "rules" of not talking about her ex-boyfriend Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle in public and in private.
An insider said: "Bear and Charlotte are back together – everyone knew they would be. Part of the reason they’re back together is that Charlotte’s agreed not to speak about her ex, Gaz, either on TV or in private.
"Bear gets SO jealous and has real issues about Charlotte’s exes. It makes him insecure every time Gaz is bought up, despite the fact Gaz and Charlotte have moved on and she’d never do anything to hurt Bear."
The turbulent couple came to blows last week after the 27-year-old star broke down in tears during an interview on Irish television after she was asked how she felt about Gaz – who she dated for five years – having a baby with his girlfriend Emma McVey.
