Simon Cowell doesn’t want his dogs to "feel left out" after the birth of his baby boy.
The new father – whose girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to Eric last month – is said to have signed up his two pooches Squiddly and Diddly for a Royal photoshoot with the Duchess of Cornwall’s Jack Russell Bluebell for Town & Country magazine.
An insider told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Simon doesn’t want them to feel left out now he has baby Eric.
"He’s glad they’re getting some notoriety. They played city dogs and Bluebell was a country dog. They yapped a lot."
Meanwhile, Simon’s ex-girlfriends recently held a "tea party" for Lauren to show there are "no hard feelings" as they welcomed her following her move to London with the media mogul, where she will live for a few months.
Speaking to the Sunday People newspaper, a source said: "It was all organised it secret and it was to assure her there are no hard feelings.
"There were lots of rumours and nasty things said but Sinitta and the others offered an olive branch and now they’re all best of friends. The girls wanted to hold a tea party for Lauren to welcome her to London."
