Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby host Dancing On Ice

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will reportedly host the revamped ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The presenting duo – who have become known for their work on ITV daytime show ‘This Morning’ – fronted the ice skating competition when it first aired 11 years ago, and it has now been reported the pair will come together once again to re-launch the show when it comes back to ITV in 2018.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It’s a massive coup for ITV to have Holly and Phil back on board. Producers love the idea of going back to the original line-up and they’re both really excited to return to their roots."
The news comes after it was recently reported that professional skater Sylvain Longchambon is due to return to the show – after having previously appeared in 2011 and 2013 – to help the celebrity hopefuls stay upright in the rink while twisting and turning to music in front of a panel of tough-talking judges.
An insider said: "’Dancing on Ice’ is going to look quite different when it comes back. Torvill and Dean are going to be on the judging panel so there will need to be a new approach to teaching the celebs to skate.
"Sylvain has been on the show for years and has proved popular with both the fans and the production team so they’ve asked him to come back.
"Things are still up in the air and a lot of new skaters are being considered and approached, so the line-up of pros could look totally different. But Sylvain will definitely be at least one familiar face when the show comes back early next year. There is also talk of him taking a coaching role with Torvill and Dean moving to the judging panel."
Meanwhile, bosses are still trying to finalise the celebrity line-up but it’s believed Katie Price, Brooke Vincent and footballer’s wife Alex Gerrard are in the running.
