Jo Wood: Mick Jagger will recover

Jo Wood says Sir Mick Jagger will recover from L’Wren Scott’s suicide.

The star – who divorced Mick’s Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood in 2009 – has said he will be able to "get over" the tragic death of his long-term girlfriend.

She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Of course he’ll get over it, you learn to live with it."

Meanwhile, it is said the iconic rock ‘n’ roll star is devastated after the fashion designer took her own life and he is removing all reminders of her from the home they shared.

Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, a source said: "Mick is so distraught and he is just having any little keepsakes removed. He can’t bear seeing her clothes or the photos of them together.

"He feels so let down by her and really believes there must be something he could have done to help her. He is devastated and really struggling to cope."

L’Wren’s sister Jan Shane has also recently thanked Mick for "sharing" her ashes with her family.

She said: "I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, Mick’s kind gesture of sharing the ashes.

"It’s especially pleasing to know her ashes will be buried net to mum and dad because L’Wren was so close to them."
