Apprentice’s Karthik Nagesan joins Celebrity Big Brother

‘Apprentice’ reject Karthik Nagesan has signed up for ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The cocky businessman – who became the hot topic of conversation last year when he bickered with Lord Sugar in the boardroom – will reportedly enter the famous house during tonight’s (01.08.17) launch show after bosses approached him at the last minute following TV presenter John Leslie’s decision to pull out, according to the Daily Star newspaper.
And, although he wasn’t a fan favourite when he took part in the business reality TV show last summer, the 33-year-old IT Consultant predicted that he would have a successful career in television because he’s "popular" with the media.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz after he was kicked off the show: "I’m working on my own thing at the moment but, in a strange way, I’m popular in the media so I don’t know if I’m going to go down the media route or pursue my IT business or do I do both. Luckily, for me, I can do both. I’d like to be a serious reality TV star. I want to be a presenter on a documentary. I’d like to make a travel documentary, I think I can offer good value.
"Maybe I can do the jungle next year. I haven’t had any one approach me yet but there are some talks and some calls on the presenting and business side."
Meanwhile, bosses of the Channel 5 show are yet to confirm the line-up for this year’s show, but it’s believed Sarah Harding, Shaun Williamson and Brandi Glanville have all agreed to enter the famous abode, as well as Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson.
Jemma Lucy, Megan McKenna’s ex Jordan Davies, ‘Hollyoaks’ star Paul Danan, ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ actress Helen Lederer, TV psychic Derek Acorah and ‘X Factor’ alumni Amelia Lily are also expected to appear on the show.
