Caroline Flack ruins Love Island with tears

Caroline Flack "ruins" ‘Love Island’ filming by crying.
The 37-year-old presenter admits she is very attached to the contestants on the programme and feels overwhelmed by the drama between them.
She said: "I find it so hard to mask my feelings when I’m there – I cried filming an episode recently.
"I ruin a ton of shots because they can’t show me sobbing – everyone would be like, ‘Why is the presenter crying her heart out?’
"And the thing is I then watch it back on TV a day later and cry again. Why am I crying? I was there!"
And Caroline admits she can relate to the contestants when their relationships come to an end, and she had to double check Camilla Thurlow was OK after her brutal dumping at the hands of Jonny Mitchell last month.
She told the Sun on Sunday newspaper: "When I saw Camilla after her heartbreak I had to talk to her and see if she was all right.
"That’s a girl thing – we’ve all had our hearts broken and then had to be around an ex.
"It strikes a chord – you watch what she went through and go ‘Ugh, there’s that feeling again’."
Caroline recently admitted she doesn’t think a celebrity version of ‘Love Island’ would work.
Asked about the possibility of a celebrity version, she said: "No, I think this is one of the rare reality shows where it actually works better with people we don’t know.
"You get to know them and become invested in the show."
And Caroline’s friends are equally gripped by the goings-on of the show and she admitted she hears from a lot of people that she doesn’t usually as they look to her for behind-the-scenes gossip.
She said: "I’m in loads [of ‘Love Island’ WhatsApp groups] with my friends, weirdly.
"All my mates climb out of the woodwork this time of year when they want to get the inside gossip.
"I hear from people I haven’t heard from in a while and they want to know all the stuff that’s going on."
While the thought of going on the show now isn’t appealing to Caroline, she thinks her younger self would have jumped at the chance.
She said: "I imagine that when I was 18 I’d have looked at ‘Love Island’ and thought, ‘I’d do that.’
"I don’t think I could [have sex on TV]. I tthink, for me, those moments are best left behind closed doors."
