‘Gogglebox’ star Chris Steed is "the happiest man alive" after marrying Tony Butland last weekend.
The 41-year-old TV star gushed about his wedding day to the landscape gardener and admitted he was "a blubbering mess" when the couple tied the knot in Chris’ home town of Brighton in The Grand Hotel.
Opening up about his big day, he told the Daily Star newspaper: "I was a blubbering mess!
"There was so much love in the room – everything went perfectly and I am the happiest man alive.
"From the moment we woke up to when we said goodbye to the last guests in the early hours everyone said they’d never felt such energy at a wedding before. Their reaction made it even more special."
Chris and Tony got engaged in October 2015 after Tony popped the question at the top of the Eiffel Tower, and the couple invited Chris’ ex Stephen Webb to be guest of honour at the wedding.
Chris and Stephen dated when they first appeared on ‘Gogglebox’ five years ago but have remained good friends since their split at the end of series one.
Chris explained: "Stephen and I are still incredibly good friends and he summed it all up for me when he said that the whole day was magical.
"He was an usher and also did an amazing reading which made me cry."
Chris and Tony had their first dance to the Barbra Streisand and Bryan Adams duet ‘I Finally Found Someone’ and their four-tier wedding cake was adorned with miniature models of the two men and their beloved pets.
The happy – who have embarked on a mini-moon to Italy before going all out on a luxury trip to New Zealand next year – wore Dolce and Gabbana silk suits and each table at the wedding was named after one of their favourite divas including the likes of Shirley Bassey, Bette Midler and Julie Andrews.
Meanwhile, Chris prepared for his big day by getting a £10,000 hair transplant.
He said previously: "I am so pleased with the results and I do feel 10 years younger. I had significant baldness around my crown and this new procedure has filled in all those gaps."
