David McIntosh to star in Bromans

Kelly Brook’s ex David McIntosh has signed up for a new reality TV show.
The former ‘Gladiator’ star will take part in ITV2’s ‘Bromans’, which will see eight couple try to live like gladiators.
However, David will not be one of the couples; he has signed up to star as the fearsome ‘Doctore’, who will whip the contestants into shape before they take part in gladiator-style battles in an amphitheatre.
Roman Kemp will narrate the series, while Tom Bell play the elusive Emperor’s assistant, ‘Dominus’.
And the winners will walk away with £10,000.
Ben Kelly, Executive Producer, Electric Ray said: "The Romans gave us roads, viaducts and basic sanitation but ‘Bromans’ may prove to be their greatest legacy. Over eight weeks our couples will train, live and carpe diem together, all the while battling to triumph at the Emperor’s Games. It is ancient Rome like you’ve never seen it before."
Siobhan Greene, ITV’s Head of Entertainment Commissioning added: "’Bromans’ takes modern day lads and their girlfriends back in time to live like gladiators in Ancient Rome. We promise you a reality series that looks like no other – and with such original content I can’t wait for ITV2 viewers to watch open mouthed at their funny sexy and super competitive antics."
Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions said: "ITV2 will be transporting eight sexy couples back to ancient Rome this Autumn with the arrival of ‘Bromans’ to the channel. It’s a great new fun entertainment format that combines physical challenges and actual reality as they all live together in this unique environment."
