Prince William and Prince Harry will honour Princess Diana with private service

Prince William and Prince Harry will hold a service this weekend to honour their late mother Princess Diana.
The 35-year-old royal and his 32-year-old brother lost their mother in 1997 after she was killed in a car crash in Paris, France, and the pair are set to hold a private memorial ceremony at the late royal’s grave on Saturday (01.07.17), to commemorate what would have been her 56th birthday.
PEOPLE has reported the Duke of Cambridge and his wife Duchess Catherine will bring their three-year-old son Prince George and two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte to the service to pay their respects.
The royal family will join fellow members of Diana’s family on the Oval Lake, which is located outside of Althorp House, in Northamptonshire, which is the site of Diana’s burial.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, it set to lead the heartfelt service.
Although there is a black silhouette of the late royal at the Temple near the lake in Althorp, it is believed the upcoming ceremony will "re-dedicate" the grave to her.
A statement, which has been released by Kensington Palace, has stated: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend a private service to re-dedicate the grave of Diana, Princess of Wales at Althorp House on Saturday 1 July.
"The service, which will fall on what would have been The Princess’s birthday, will be conducted by The Archbishop of Canterbury and attended by her family."
The designated area is also flagged with a pop-up exhibition, which showcases the fashion photographer Mario Testino’s 1997 work, including photographs of Diana, as well as other art work, and can be viewed by passers-by.
