Mike Thalassitis admits Jessica Shears is his "type".
The hunky TV star and Jessica reportedly enjoyed a steamy night of passion on the night they both left ‘Love Island’ – but Mike has now denied they had sex, insisting he "didn’t know" where the idea had come from.
Reflecting on his experiences since leaving the ITV show, Mike said: "I’ve had a crazy couple of nights. I’ve not had much sleep at all. I was expecting someone to come in before someone would go out.
"I think you saw the real Mike but I think it was all serious."
Mike explained that he and the brunette beauty were never alone as they made their way back to the holding villa and he also insisted they stayed in separate rooms.
Speaking on ‘Aftersun’ with Caroline Flack, Mike said: "I was knackered. It was mentally draining, I fell straight to sleep."
However, he admitted that Jessica is the "type" of woman he’s typically attracted to.
Mike said: "She’s a good-looking girl. I wouldn’t say I fancy her but she’s definitely my type."
By contrast, an insider claimed last week that the pair got it on almost as soon as they were able to escape the ‘Love Island’ cameras.
The source said: "Jess and Mike fancied the pants off each other from the minute they met – last night was the perfect opportunity to enjoy time together in private off-camera and they didn’t waste a moment.
"When they left the villa they dropped off their bags at the hotel where they were both booked to stay, enjoyed a few drinks with the crew and then snuck off secretly.
"They had separate rooms but the sexual chemistry between them was too much – one thing led to another and they spent the night in bed together."
