Alesha Dixon replaces Nicole Scherzinger on X Factor

Alesha Dixon is replacing Nicole Scherzinger on ‘The X Factor’.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge will take over for the former Pussycat Doll at the Manchester for the popstar search show this weekend after Nicole had to pull out due to a "diary clash".
A source told The Sun: "Everyone is gutted that Nicole won’t be joining them, but Alesha has a wealth of experience from her role on ‘BGT’ and her own pop career so will do a great job filling in."
An ‘X Factor’ spokesperson said: "Alesha is guest-judging for the first day of the Manchester auditions as Nicole is unable to film that day due to a previous diary commitment."
Meanwhile, although Nicole and fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh will once again join Simon Cowell on the panel for ‘The X Factor’, there have been some changes to the show.
Rylan Clark-Neal – who presented the spin-off show ‘The Xtra Factor’ last year – said: "I have actually heard there will be some changes this year. The length of the series, the way the live shows play out will be slightly different and there won’t be the ‘The Xtra Factor’ anymore."
The 57-year-old music mogul had his heart set on keeping the panel the same this year because he loved how "perfect" the chemistry was between them on the show in 2016.
A source said: "The ¬chemistry was perfect last year, so it’s only natural to want to bring the same line-up together again.
"It’s usually hard to get people’s schedules to align but for the first year it has worked out. The judges can’t wait to get started and have already been gossiping behind the scenes."
