Jodie Marsh slams Love Island stars

Jodie Marsh doesn’t think the contestants on ‘Love Island’ will be "famous" in 10 years’ time.
The 38-year-old bodybuilder has warned the stars of the romantic reality TV show to be careful about having sex on camera while inside the villa because she thinks their time in the limelight is short lived but their explicit behaviour will never be forgotten – even later down the line.
Speaking to the Daily Star Online, she said: "I don’t have anything against them at all. I just think that every single one of them, the girls especially will seriously regret having sex or giving b*** **** on TV when they’re older. What I have seen on TV, I watch and I cringe and every cell in my body hurts. I just think, ‘My God, you will never live this down’.
"Half of these people that are famous now, won’t be famous in 10 years. It’s not got longevity. They’re not going to be superstars. Some may slip through the net and do well, but most of them won’t. That’s how this game works. I am the perfect person to say this, because I’ve done stupid things, I haven’t had sex on telly but I’ve worn ridiculous outfits and said ridiculous things. I’ve given way too much information about my past sex life and all sorts.
"I’ve been celibate for nearly seven years and still get called a s**t… It’s because they’re remembering when I was young and I’d say how much I love sex. That’s just me talking about it and I haven’t had sex on TV. So if I’m still getting that now at 40, then they’re going to regret it so much because no one will ever forget that. Their fame will die but what they did won’t.
"When they do want to be anonymous and get married, have kids and live a normal life out of the spotlight, they will still be walking into a restaurant and people will still be whispering, ‘That’s the girl who had sex on telly’. I just worry for them, they don’t know what they’re doing. I think it goes to their head. They think they’re invincible and a massive star. But they’re not thinking that this isn’t going to last forever. I think you can play the game without degrading yourself on telly."
Although she doesn’t agree with their behaviour, the brunette beauty – who made a name for herself for posing virtually naked in lads’ mags – still likes to tune in to the show after a hard day.
She explained: "I do enjoy it as a programme. I tell my friends it’s hilarious if you watch it as a comedy. You have to watch it as if it’s light-hearted. It doesn’t take any brain power to watch, does it? At the end of a stressful day, if you put that on it sends you to sleep laughing."
