Doctor Who to kill off multiple characters?

Doctor Who’s Steven Moffat has teased that there may be multiple deaths in the show’s series finale.
The current series of the popular sci-fi drama is set to conclude in two weeks’ time and the executive producer – who will be walking away from the programme this year when he hands the reins over to his successor Chris Chibnall – has hinted that there may be numerous characters leaving the plot for good.
Asked if everyone gets out alive, Moffat told Doctor Who Magazine: "I never said that. Wait and see."
But, although some people are no doubt set to bow out, the finale will certainly be a memorable one as it will be the first time Missy (Michelle Gomez) and the Master (John Simm) will be seen together.
John will return to ‘Doctor Who’ as the Master for the first time since New Year’s Day in 2010, when he was responsible for the regeneration of the Tenth Doctor, but this time he will come face-to-face with Missy, his later regeneration, and battle the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) during the series’ two part finale.
Meanwhile, although it’s not known exactly when Capaldi will walk away from his role as the titular character, who will be played by someone else next year, Moffat has hinted that his exit will be "different."
He said recently: "You haven’t got to the end of this series yet, which ends on – I hope – quite an unexpected note. You all know that the mighty Peter Capaldi will be bowing out. But we’re going to do it slightly differently this time. And I’ve been working with Chris [Chibnall] about how we do the changeover in a new way.
"So I’m not going to tell you what that is – I’m excited by it, I think it’s going to work well – but it’s not… well every regeneration is different, but we are playing it slightly differently this time. I think we’ve got a good idea – but I’m not telling you what it is."
