Jack P. Shepherd doesn’t talk to Michelle Keegan anymore

Jack P. Shepherd doesn’t talk to Michelle Keegan anymore.
The ‘Coronation Street’ hunk – who is known for portraying former bad boy David Platt in the soap – may have locked lips with the brunette beauty, who played Tina McIntyre until she was killed off in 2014, on numerous occasions on the soap as their characters enjoyed a long but turbulent relationship, but has now cut off all communication with her.
He explained: "We don’t actually talk anymore. We don’t keep in touch. It’s awkward. I never keep in touch with people when they leave. I never want to ask where they’re working in case they aren’t and they ask me for money."
And, although he’s got no intention of leaving the long-running soap any time soon, the 29-year-old actor has admitted he’d love to join rival show ‘EastEnders’ one day.
Asked if he’d work on another soap, he said: "Definitely! If I left ‘Corrie’ then I wouldn’t turn one down. I would love to go on ‘EastEnders’. I’d also love a little job in Morrisons. I finish at ‘Corrie’ at 7pm, so I could work there late. I could learn my lines at the till."
However, for now, Jack is happy working on the cobbled set and can’t help but squeal when he finds out his alter-ego is at the centre of a major "dramatic" storyline.
Speaking to Star magazine, he said: "I love the dramatic ones if the story is good. But I do love the funny ones, too, I like to make people laugh. I always pull faces and do stupid stuff and people are like: ‘We’re recording that, you d******d.’ "
