Liam Gallagher refuses to go on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here!

Liam Gallagher gets asked to do I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here!’ "every year."
The 44-year-old former Oasis frontman has claimed he’s hounded by bosses of the creepy-crawly reality TV show every time a new series rolls around but he’s adamant he’ll never agree to take part because his music career is too successful.
Speaking to Johnny Vaughan on Radio X, Liam said: "No but I’ve been offered to go on that – they keep ringing me every year, man – that ‘I’m a Celeb’… you know the jungle thing? Every year I’m like that ‘leave it out, mate’."
But, although they can’t their hands on the rocker, producers are keen to do all they can to make sure the next series is a success and are even toying with the idea of moving the filming set to Kangeroo Island, a 35-minute journey from Adelaide, in South Australia, when their contract with Springbrook National Park in New South Wales – where the programme has been filmed since 2003 – expires in two years’ time.
And it seems like the change could have come along at the right time as it was reported last year – just before the last series kicked off – that the owner of the current site Craig Parker wasn’t planning to renew the contract following a disagreement with show bosses.
A source said at the time: "The relationship between Craig and the bosses has badly broken down. He’s always found hosting the show on his land frustrating, but in the past has considered it worth the money they throw at him. But this year’s different. There have been lots of small squabbles in which he feels his opinions have been totally ignored. He is sick and tired of having the cast and crew there. He can pretty much name his price. But so far he is adamant he will not be changing his mind."
