Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and Tiffany Watson are planning to split.
The couple may have been together on and off for years but they’ve decided to halt their fiery relationship temporarily over the summer period in order to focus on themselves – but not until they’ve enjoyed one last romantic break abroad together.
Speaking on the show’s spin-off ‘Made in Chelsea: End of Season Party’, Sam told host Rick Edwards when pressed on how their relationship was going following a few tense months in front of the cameras: "We’re kind of going on a summer break."
When asked if they were still in a relationship at the moment, Tiffany added: "We are together at the moment, but we’ve scheduled in a break."
Although they didn’t exactly explain why they were planning to take some time out, Sam is adamant he eventually wants to marry Tiffany – the sister of Lucy Watson – but wants to enjoy his twenties while he still can, while the blonde beauty wants to go on holiday.
Sam explained: "I want to marry Tiff, I know I’m going to have kids with her. I’m just very aware of how young I am."
Tiffany added: "I want to go on holiday with my friends, I want to do my own thing."
The news of their split came as somewhat of a shock to fans but Sam’s sister Louise Thompson – who is dating Ryan Libbey – thinks their decision is "very brave."
She said: "I think they are very brave, but they’ve had a lot of time to think about this decision. I live with Sam, I spend a lot of time with Tiff. We’ve become so close."
