‘Coronation Street’s Eva Price will take revenge after discovering her boyfriend has been cheating on her with her best friend.
The feisty barmaid – played by Catherine Tyldesley – is set to find out that Aidan Connor has secretly been seeing Maria Connor behind her back and she will enjoy getting even with them both.
Soap boss Kate Oates told The Sun Online: "The Eva, Maria and Aidan story is delicious.
"Eva will find out the truth and how she responds to that is very Eva the diva-ish.
"There is a long planning revenge for her there."
Speaking previously, Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria alongside Shayne Ward as Aidan, predicted that the affair would end badly.
She said: "Maria makes the worse decisions, this romance has got disaster written all over it. Aidan is just a dirt bag isn’t he? She should just stay well clear of him.
"I don’t fancy her chances against Eva. God knows what he’s going to do when she finds out."
And Samia is campaigning behind the scenes of ‘Coronation Street’ for her character to get together with her salon co-worker David Platt, played by her friend Jack P. Shepherd.
She said: "I’m sort of campaigning for her and David to get together. I think her and David should just crack on, loads of people want it. I get so many messages on Twitter saying Maria and David should get together, I’ve known Jack since he was 11 and I was 17, we joined together in 2000 so we have literally grown up together. It’s lovely because we’re so at ease working with each other. ‘Corrie’ has been half my life, I’m 34 now, it’s weird when you think about it like that."
