Paul Hollywood: I’ll never have plastic surgery

Paul Hollywood has vowed never to undergo plastic surgery.
The 51-year-old celebrity chef has jokingly blamed the stress of appearing on programmes such as ‘The Great British Bake Off’ – where he has been a judge since its conception in 2010 – for expanding his waistline and turning his hair grey, but insists there’s "no chance" of him ever going under the knife to make himself look younger as he’d rather "grow old disgracefully".
He said: "I’ll never go down to the botox route. No chance. I’ll grow old disgracefully. My hair is white. I’m like Father Christmas. I’m getting fatter, I’m getting whiter. I’m just turning into Father Christmas. I reckon in five years it will be perfect."
Paul is due to return to the famous ‘…Bake Off’ tent later this year for the first series of the show since it moved from the BBC to rival broadcasters Channel 4, but before he does he’ll be seen on screens on BBC Two for his car show ‘Paul Hollywood’s Big Continental Road Trip’.
The show – which starts on Sunday (28.05.17) – will see the star drive around Italy, Spain, Germany, and France, with a variety of guest stars including ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Bruno Tonioli.
Paul even stops off at a nudist colony in Germany, but refused to get involved himself.
Asked by The Sun newspaper if he stripped off, Paul said: "No, people could have been eating! That’s the last thing they want to see.
"It was nerve-wracking. All I did was look in their eyes, look in their eyes. Don’t look down, don’t look down. I remember sitting down and I sat forward because I was a little bit nervous. A lady on my left went, ‘Ooh sit back. Come on sit back love, you’ll be fine.’ I was like, ‘Thank you’, looking her straight in the eyes. It was a little bit embarrassing."
