Max George offered £150,000 to appear on Celebrity Big Brother

Max George has reportedly been offered a large sum of money to appear on this year’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The former The Wanted band member is believed to have been approached to take part in the next series of the Channel 5 show and stay in the famous house for six weeks in a bid to win the programme and reportedly bag a whopping £150,000 for appearing on the show.
But it is believed no amount of money will convince the ‘All Time Low’ hitmaker to take part in the next season because he doesn’t want to follow in his band mates footsteps by appearing on reality television or have to discuss his relationship with former fiancée Michelle Keegan.
A source told The Sun Online: "Max isn’t interested in doing any reality TV.
"He has been inundated with offers but wants to avoid having to open up about his love life.
"He’s told pals he will leave any reality telly work to his ex-band mates Tom Parker and Jay McGuiness."
And instead of competing for the title in the forthcoming series of the popular show, Max is keen to focus on his solo music career now he has joined forces with Fandom and will be supported by music manager Tim Byrne.
Speaking previously about Max – who was previously signed to Scooter Braun in 2014 – a separate insider said: "Scooter is responsible for huge stars like Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepson and Ariana Grande but he just didn’t have the time to invest in Max and things dried up.
"This is a really exciting opportunity for Max now."
Meanwhile, Stephen Bear – who is currently dating Charlotte Crosby – has confirmed he will appear in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ next month after he won the last series.
