Aidan Turner won’t strip in Poldark

Aidan Turner won’t be taking his top off in the third series of ‘Poldark’.
The 33-year-old actor has set pulses racing for the past two instalments of the BBC programme, in which he portrays the titular character Ross Poldark, by stripping off to flash his toned abs, but fans are in for disappointment this time around as he has admitted he’s asked bosses if he can keep his clothes on this year.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, he said: "I think the clothes stay on this year.
"Maybe there is some topless sleeping, I can’t remember. The clothes come on and off so easily these days."
The second instalment of the popular drama, based on the novels of Winston Graham, only wrapped up in the autumn last year but bosses have wasted no time shooting the third series as the next batch of episodes will drop next month.
The BBC confirmed at the end of last year that Aidan will return for the third series along with Eleanor Tomlinson, 25, as his wife Demelza.
It’s not yet known if any more series are in the pipeline as of yet but Aidan previously revealed he would love to bring to life all 12 novels Winston penned from 1945 until 2002 to the small screen.
The programme is known for its raunchy sex scenes and scandalous affairs but BBC bosses are about to air a graphic toe-sucking scene.
In the original 1975 series, Christopher Biggins, 68, played the sex-mad vicar Reverend Osborne Whitworth who had an affair with his wife’s 15-year-old sister.
Christopher filmed a scene where he slipped his lips around the toe of the girl but BBC bosses cut it as they were terrified of the backlash.
However, it has been revealed they will now be airing the gruesome sex scene moment with Christian Brassington, 33, playing the role of Whitworth.
