Jeremy McConnell is determined to do "all it takes" to win over Stephanie Davis’ mother.
The 27-year-old heartthrob fell out with Pauline after he was accused of assaulting the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star last month which, ultimately, led to him completing a six-week stint in rehab for his drug and alcohol addictions, but he’s desperate to get her back on his side so that the frosty tension between them doesn’t wreak even more havoc for his and his girlfriend’s turbulent relationship.
A source told The Sun Online: "Pauline has never liked Jeremy. She is really concerned about his and Stephanie’s toxic relationship. While she’s pretty icy about the whole thing and isn’t really on talking terms with Jeremy at the moment – he’s desperate to get her back onside. He thinks it will only strengthen his and Stephanie’s troubled relationship if they heal their rift."
News that Stephanie’s mother isn’t keen on Jeremy, with whom she has four-month-old son Caben-Albi, comes just days after it was claimed the actress’ neighbours had been complaining to Pauline about the disturbing level of noise that comes from her daughter’s home during a row with Jeremy.
An insider explained recently: They are nightmare neighbours and are always screaming and shouting in the back garden. The street is dominated by photographers and their cars – causing even more disturbance to those hoping for a quiet life.
"There have been a few incidents with neighbours complaining to her parents but to no avail. Understandably people are now growing tired of it."
Jeremy – who is from Dublin, Ireland – has just moved back into Stephanie’s house in Liverpool after he temporarily set up home in a hotel when the 24-year-old beauty was admitted to hospital with extreme stress shortly after he denied assaulting her during a court appearance earlier this month.
The couple met and fell in love while competing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ last year but just a few months after leaving the abode they split following a series of rows.
Stephanie then found out she was pregnant but Jeremy refused to believe the baby belonged to him until little Caben was born in January and they had a DNA test.
They’ve now decided to give their relationship another go for their son and Stephanie has even spoken about getting married and having another baby with Jeremy.
