The late Princess Diana was a ‘natural carer’

The late Princess Diana was a "natural carer", according to hair stylist Sam McKnight.
The royal tragically passed away in 1997 after being involved in a car accident in France aged 36, but the golden-haired beauty has been credited for her philanthropic work and for being fearless and "not fazed" by the scenes she witnessed when she visited medical centres across the globe.
Speaking about Diana – who has sons Prince William, 34, and Prince Harry, 32, with her former partner Prince Charles – the 61-year-old beauty expert told ES magazine: "She took me to Mother Teresa’s hospice in Calcutta and a limb-fitting hospital on the Afghan border. It was really harrowing but Diana was a natural carer and not fazed by it at all."
Although Sam has admitted he found his trips with Diana "really harrowing", he is grateful he got to spend "seven years" by her side and travelling with her.
He added: "I was fortunate to spend seven years with Princess Diana."
Meanwhile, Diana’s children and her close friends are set to open up about their fond memories of her in a new documentary titled ‘The Life and Death of Princess Diana: A Dateline Investigation’ to commemorate the 20-year anniversary of her death.
And it is believed the programme will offer a "fresh" insight into Diana and unveil more about her personality through their personal experiences with her.
ITV’s Controller of Factual, Jo Clinton-Davis, said: "’This new ITV film will offer viewers a fresh and revealing insight into Princess Diana through the personal and intimate reflections of her two sons and of her friends and family, many of whom have never spoken before, to bring together a definitive portrait of a unique person who touched the lives of millions."
