Stephanie Davis has vowed "never" to drink alcohol again.
The 24-year-old actress sparked rumours that she and her on/off boyfriend Jeremy McConnell had hit the rocks once again – just days after he left rehab following a six-week stint – after she posted a disturbing incoherent on Twitter last night (03.05.17) but she has revealed it was actually her that caused the spat this time as she had been knocking back booze and she has realised that it doesn’t agree with her.
Taking to her Twitter account today (04.05.17), Stephanie – who has four-month-old son Caben-Albi with the Irish hunk – wrote: "Honest note from myself. I can’t drink because it ruins my life. I keep things in. I destroy people’s lives. Me and Jeremy can’t drink. And won’t be drinking again. It’s been hard for me to admit and accept. I’m a good mother and good person but alcohol doesn’t agree with my life. It’s a chemical imbalance. I hate that my life is in the media, but I can’t lie and keep this in. I guess I chose to share my life so I have to deal with it. My priorities are my family and I need to make right the wrongs. I haven’t been perfect myself. All my life I’ve been told what I should be, how I should be, and it’s rubbish. This is me. I hope one day I can help people int he same situation. You’re not a bd person you’re just powerless. I’ve hurt those that are close to me who I love so much. I want a happy future. For me and my family. It’s not nice to see. I love Jeremy and my son. They’re all that matter. I feel a relief from being honest and I hope you all understand.
Although the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star is clearly sorry for her behaviour, Jeremy – who sought help last month for drug and alcohol addiction – has decided to remove himself from the situation and has reportedly blocked his lover on social media.
A representative for the 27-year-old heartthrob told The Sun Online: "[Jeremy] has not touched a drop of alcohol since leaving rehab. To imply that Jeremy was drinking three days after leaving rehab is a malicious lie. Jeremy removed himself from the situation last night and checked into a hotel."
The couple met and fell in love while competing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ last year but just a few months after leaving the abode they split following a series of rows.
Stephanie then found out she was pregnant but Jeremy refused to believe the baby belonged to him until little Caben was born in January and they had a DNA test.
