The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry are set to open up about their fond memories of their late mother Princess Diana in a new documentary.
The 34-year-old royal and his 32-year-old brother lost their mother in 1997 after she was involved in a fatal car crash in France, and while the pair remained silent about their grief when they were younger they will openly reminisce about their parent on a new ITV programme titled ‘The Life and Death of Princess Diana: A Dateline Investigation’ to commemorate the 20-year anniversary of her death.
According to the Mail Online both Harry and William – who has three-year-old son Prince George and two-year-old Princess Charlotte with his wife Duchess Catherine – will discuss how their mother’s charity work has largely influenced them and their humanitarian projects.
And it is believed the brothers, and friends of the golden-haired beauty – who have not spoken out before – will offer a "fresh" insight into Diana and unveil more about her personality through their personal experiences with her.
Speaking about the programme, ITV’s Controller of Factual, Jo Clinton-Davis, said: "’This new ITV film will offer viewers a fresh and revealing insight into Princess Diana through the personal and intimate reflections of her two sons and of her friends and family, many of whom have never spoken before, to bring together a definitive portrait of a unique person who touched the lives of millions."
And Oxford Film and Television’s executive producer, Nick Kent, added: "This film will show Princess Diana in a way she has never seen before, through the eyes of two people who know her best."
