X Factor star Kieran Alleyne reveals newborn son’s name

5 After Midnight’s Kieran Alleyne has named his son Jaxon Alleyne.
The former ‘X Factor’ contestant welcomed a baby boy with his former girlfriend Sophie Johnson on Friday (07.04.17) and has now posted a sweet picture of himself cradling the baby and also revealed the name.
He captioned the image: "This is so crazy" and he called the tot his "bundle of joy".
His former ‘X Factor’ rival Matt Terry, who won the show in 2016, took to Twitter to congratulate Kieran.
He wrote: "Massive congratulations to my brother @kieranalleyne."
Kieran – whose group made it to the show’s semi-final stage in 2016 – and Sophie, ended their 16-month relationship in March but he vowed that he would still be there for her and their baby.
He shared: "No matter what our relationship status may be, I still consider Sophie to be my best friend.
"I know she will be the most amazing mother to our son. I’m looking forward to us starting a new chapter together as great friends and committed parents to our baby boy.
"We are both incredibly excited to welcome him into the world together."
Meanwhile, although 5 After Midnight failed to win ‘The X Factor’, the popular trio of Kieran, Nathan Lewis and Jordan Lee did enough to convince music mogul Simon Cowell that they were worthy of a record deal.
Simon reportedly feels the group could eventually become global stars, filling a void that currently exists in the market.
A source previously said: "Simon has been a big fan of 5AM throughout the series.
"Out of all the artists he thinks 5AM have the biggest gap in the market. There are very few boybands around at the moment and even fewer urban boybands who dance."
