Russell Brand feels ‘very warm’ towards ex-wife Katy Perry

Russell Brand still feels "very warm" towards his ex-wife Katy Perry.
The 41-year-old comedian split from the blonde beauty in 2012 after being married for 14 months, but the actor has revealed he holds no bad feelings towards the 32-year-old musician and considers her as just another "person in the world".
Speaking about the ‘Roar’ hitmaker on ‘John Bishop In Conversation With’, the funny man said: "I have come away from that experience and I still feel very warm towards her.
"When I hear about her or see her, I think ‘Ah, there’s that person, that person in the world’."
And the dark-haired rocker has claimed the "undulating nature of fame" was the cause for their break-up.
He explained: "Katy was obviously very, very occupied and busy. I was occupied and busy but not to the same degree.
"The marriage didn’t last for a very long time and I think that is due to the undulating nature of fame, living in those conditions."
The ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ star has since moved on from Katy with his fiancée Laura Gallacher, and he believes their four-month-old daughter Mabel is the "most spectacular thing" in his life.
He explained: "The thing that has been the most spectacular thing in my life has been the most ordinary thing: a baby came out, like all of us did, the same experience we’ve all had."
And Russell has credited his wife as being his "good friend" and "something real", and he has no doubts the couple will be together forever.
He said: "The bond between my partner and I is based on something that is very earthed. We are friends, we are very good friends. When I’m talking to her, I’m very plainly chatting.
"I thank God for something normal, something real. Not something that’s going to break apart and be nothing."
