The Amazons want MO collaboration

The Amazons want to get MØ on one of their songs.
Frontman Matt Thomson is massive fan of the 28-year-old singer – who featured on Justin Bieber’s ‘Cold Water’ with Major Lazor – and thinks she would fit their indie rock sound well, as despite have an electronic dance sound she is good at mixing "punk with beats".
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I think MØ is a really good singer, I think her voice would sound really good on like a guitar band track.
"She’s got a punky vibe to it even though it is electronic based stuff. I remember seeing her at Reading Festival she was amazing. It felt like a punk show with beats and stuff."
And another female artist Matt has been inspired by is rapper M.I.A, who he met the 2016 Q Awards, and he praised her for being brave enough to do whatever she wants as an artist.
He recalled: "I said hello to M.I.A she is really cool. As she said, she hasn’t really been to those kind of things because she is not really in the country so to meet her was so cool. She is so inspiring as an artist, she has a lot of courage and a lot of self belief to do what she wants to do."
The ‘Black Magic’ rockers – completed by guitarist Chris Alderton, bassist Elliot Briggs and drummer Joe Emmet – have been able to push the release date of their self-titled debut LP forward from June 2 to May 26 after the pre-orders exceeded their target, which was mind-blowing for the rising rock band.
Matt said: "The response to the album has been humbling I didn’t really expect the reaction to the album that we got in terms of the love we received on social media and the pre-orders we beat our weeks target in a day. So we are gobsmacked by the response. "
